About ROHAI

Two Decades of Field-Proven Expertise, Reimagined for Grassroots Impact.

The Reach-Out Health Awareness Foundation (ROHAI) is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming public health landscapes through data-driven advocacy, community mobilisation, and innovative communication. Established to bridge the gap between policy and the grassroots, ROHAI operates at the intersection of health equity, environmental sustainability, and social justice.

Our approach is rooted in the belief that sustainable development requires more than just clinical intervention — it requires a fundamental shift in social norms and individual behaviours. By integrating Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) with high-impact community outreach, we empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.

Our Vision

"To create a world where every individual, regardless of their socio-economic status or geographical location, has equitable access to quality healthcare, a clean environment, and the opportunity to lead a dignified, productive life."

Our Mission

"To design and implement evidence-based interventions that address the social determinants of health, promote gender equality, and build climate-resilient communities through strategic partnerships, entertainment-education, and grassroots engagement."

Mission Statement

"To transform community health and well-being through data-driven advocacy, strategic partnerships with local gatekeepers, and culturally relevant education that ensures equitable access to professional medical services and environmental sustainability."

Message from the Founder & Executive Director

Welcome to the Reach-Out Health Awareness Foundation (ROHAI).

Our work is built upon a foundation of nearly two decades of dedicated service in the international development sector. Having spent twenty years leading large-scale media-based interventions and cross-border social change programmes, I have seen firsthand that true transformation is not a top-down event — it is a community-led process.

The ROHAI team was born from this extensive experience. We have taken the rigorous standards of international development — its evidence-based strategies, legal frameworks, and complex monitoring systems — and brought them directly to the grassroots.

We understand that health equity cannot be achieved in a vacuum; it requires a deep, empathetic understanding of the social, environmental, and economic determinants that shape our lives.

At ROHAI, we go beyond traditional awareness. We leverage the power of Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) and Entertainment-Education to inspire real-world action. Whether we are tackling Maternal Mortality, advocating for Climate-Resilient Health Systems, or pioneering Zero-Waste initiatives, our approach is always the same: we combine world-class expertise with local cultural diplomacy.

We invite you to explore our framework, join our mission, and partner with us. Together, we are building a future where health, equity, and dignity are the standard for every community we serve.
